A New Chapter

It's official! On April 20th, we finally finished with emptying our home and tying up loose ends in Lehi. We ended the weekend celebrating Emery's first Birthday, so it was a real treat to see so many sweet faces before we headed out.

Life is so funny and unpredictable. I couldn't tell you we'd be doing this a year ago. But, here we are. We moved to St. George for Adam to work with a start up company. Initially, we had plans to go straight to the Philippines. With any startup, things are unpredictable. That plan was delayed and at this point might be tweeked a little more. I foresee us staying here  a lot longer and hopefully permenantly. I fell in love with St. George the first time Adam took me here while we were dating. We only stayed a day but that's all I needed to know how wonderful this place is. So, although unplanned I am pretty darn happy about our new journey.
Spent time downtown during the Ironman event

I love putting her hair in pigtails but I feel like I am going into battle. She hates it. Beauty is pain.

To start our new chapter off on a healthier note, we joined a gym! We make lots of goals, but fitness...or the lack of is my vice. Maybe this gym thing will change things. If not, I can still take Emery to the daycare for a little R&R in the Sauna :)

Just a big update.

I've kinda been MIA these last few months. Lots of things have happened, some things less welcomed than others. I lost both of my sweet grandmas. I knew it would happen eventually and I know they are in a better place but still, it is hard to lose someone in your life. I am grateful for their good influences and especially for the children they raised. My parents were shaped by these amazing woman.

My grandmas Cynthia and Magdalene
With Cynthia's passing, I was able to see some faces I haven't seen in a while. Feelin' like the good ol'days! My brothers are handsome and hardworking. I am so proud of these Marines.

We have also have (unofficially) moved to St. George...that's it...to be continued
