This Friday I'll be going in at 6am for a C-section, just a day before Taylor's due date. I'm glad I don't have to wait till next week like I originally planned because this week has been really hard on my body and sleeping is so uncomfortable. I feel like she wants to come out but my body is holding her hostage! Our hope was to try for a natural birth, but like Emery's birthing experience, my body has no idea what labor is and doesn't plan to do any such thing. I was kinda bummed at first but Adam reminded me that it doesn't matter how our babies come into the world, as long as they come and we're healthy, that's all that matters. And, on the bright side, I get to stay in the hospital a little longer. Which means I get to relax and have people wait on me and bring me food YESSSSS, a mom's dream come true!
These next few weeks are going to be full of changes. A week after I get out of the hospital, we will be moving back to our town home in Lehi. I'm definitely going to miss everything about being in SLC with my In-laws (especially having the cousins around for Emery to play with!) but it'll be fun to have our own place again.
So, here we go. Family of three to four in two days. Please pray that the delivery goes well!
