We've been here almost two months and are missing Utah like crazy. Emery tells me every day she misses Oakley and every time she runs into a wall or stubbs her toe, she blames the house and demands we go back to Utah. Aside from missing all her family and friends, she's grown a lot. Today she was kinda getting on my nerves so I went to my bedroom for some peace. A few minutes later, Emery walked in and said "Sorry mommy" and gave me a big hug. *TEAR* Proud parent moment right there. We must be doing something right.
For Valentines this year we went to our first party for the girls! My friend put on a fun little get together for all the kids. We Decorated bags and cookies, played with balloons and bubbles and had lots of laughs. Emery had a cute little boy chase her around, she asked me to save her so hopefully, she keeps up that reaction till she's 18.

Lately, we've been staying indoors since Taylor came down with a cold and bad cough. Poor thing!

After being cooped up for a while, we took the girls to Fairytale Land for a couple of hours in Oakland. It's a cute little fairytale themed park for kids. The girls loved it!
Adam and I being one of those annoying parents that yell at their kids to smile at the camera every time they came around. OOPS.
